Complimentary Spa Zone 2014

The Women's Health & Fitness Expo is coordinating complimentary massage therapy and spa services for visitors. Participating schools, spas and fitness centers will present massage therapists and other professionals to provide Reflexology, Reiki, and Massage Therapy that aids stress reduction. Participating providers include:

Freer Therapeutics (Grant Freer, LMT, MS/Ac): Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy (I.E.T.), Reflexology, Zero Balancing, Tui Na (Chinese massage), Shiatsu (Japanese massage), Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue massage


Dragon Springs Acupuncture (Malinda Sanducci, MS, L.Ac.): Acupuncture

Malinda Sanducci, MS, L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of New York & Connecticut. She graduated summa cum laude from New York University with her undergraduate degree in psychology. Afterwards, she went on to pursue a masters of science degree and graduated with honors from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture where she received training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese acupuncture, and a modern style of acupuncture that combines Western myofascial trigger point release with Classical Chinese theory. She has received additional training in Alchemical 5-Element acupuncture and incorporates a variety of non-needling techniques into her work. Her private practice, Dragon Springs Acupuncture, is located at 231 Clinton Avenue in the historic uptown district of Kingston, NY.

Malinda spent almost ten years working with children and adolescents with special needs, Autism, and emotional issues in public schools and group home settings. In her private practice, she specializes in working with those living with Parkinson’s Disease.


Vivian Bodie: Energy Massage

Vivian has been a massage therapist for 26 years and has also been intuitive for her entire life. She combines these talents in her energy work and massage. Her process works with a person, their belief system, and her awareness - resulting in a relaxed body that releases different layers of stress, pain or discomfort.

Meg Coons Acupuncture

Meg is a NY and NJ licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She received her Master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Meg is also a Breast Cancer Prevention Project Trainer and certified Dragon’s Way® instructor, a weight loss and stress management program, both of which Qigong is the cornerstone. Both programs were taught under the direct guidance of Nan Lu, OMD, and the Traditional Chinese Medicine World Foundation, New York City. Lu is an internationally recognized Taiji and Qigong master and doctor of Oriental medicine. Meg has been a student of Master Lu since 1999 and continues to study with him. She is currently enrolled in LifeForce – Tao of Medical Qigong. Meg has a private practice in New Paltz. meg@megcoons.com


Debb Reuss , Massage Therapist

Debb Reuss, LMT is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. She specializes in therapeutic massage working with individual client needs and incorporates many different techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapies, advanced cervical work, as well as relaxation and swedish techniques which successfully reduce discomfort due to chronic pain and pain patterns associated with static postural habits, repetitive stress conditions, headaches, TMJ, fibromyalgia and pregnancy.
