The Red Hot Mamas Return: three of the Hudson Valley’s greatest jazz and blues vocalists, and recording artists, are back together again for this special performance at the 8th Annual Women’s Health Expo. These well known entertainers are Betty MacDonald, Terry Blaine and Nancy Donnelly. They will be performing with Peter Tomlinson on keyboards and Jim Curtin on bass, providing a backup that will create the perfect accompaniment for these singers to weave their magic groove. This is a sizzling combination of musicians that have wowed audiences in concert halls, night clubs, and jazz festivals in the USA and internationally. They will grace the stage at the Expo from 2 - 3:30. Each singer has her own unique style and repertoire and when they come together for a grand finale, the house will be rockin’ !! You’ll have no doubt why these vocalists have earned the title of Red Hot Mamas.

A Perfect Gift: All That Is Jazz™ is a project of the Artist's Alliance Against Violence, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to creating vehicles for individuals to express themselves through the arts and be respectfully heard. The musicians and dancers of A Perfect Gift: All That Is Jazz™ focus on developing their own choreography and compositions, as well as performing Jazz standards. Jazz, in itself, is a sublime example of how the violence of slavery has been transformed into a national classical music form, which embraces people of all races and sociological backgrounds.

Their songs and arrangements have been called "compelling . . . and haunting". The Kingston Freeman wrote that Split the Bill makes music in "a comfortable living room way that's been lost in recent years . . . does a fine job of bringing real music back, as it should be." Split the Bill performs a blend of intriguing and rhythmic originals and covers including The Beatles, The Indigo Girls, Radiohead, Jackson Browne, The Eagles and Emmylou Harris.
