Join us for a talk about Real Beauty, how our self-talk and behaviors not only affect our own confidence level but how readily that gets translated in our relationships. Participants are encouraged to  become more self-aware of their perceptions of beauty, aging, and being female though interactive exercises and sharing.

Girls on the Run® is an international non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential. Amy Frisch, LCSWR, specializes in work with women and adolescent girls and is the Ulster County Coordinator for Girls on the Run.

Learn how to manage yourself better. Those in attendance will experience how hypnosis can alter your thoughts about stress and how you deal with the challenges of everyday life.

Michael Salerno is a Certified Hypnotist who has a practice at the WellTree in Rhinebeck, NY. He works with clients in a variety of areas including smoking cessation, weight management, and stress reduction.

 What is Pilates? Pilates is too hard. Pilates is too easy. Pilates is only for people who are in shape. Pilates is too expensive. Sound familiar? During this workshop Chelsea will answer any and all questions you have about Pilates and get to the bottom of all the Pilates myths you have heard or are confused about. She will also have you move and give you some Pilates homework to incorporate into your everyday, healthy lifestyle. This workshop and Pilates is for everyone!

Care and Feeding for a Healthy and Happy Voice

Many know first-hand how critical singing is to our mood, but even the most avid songbirds often find consistent vocal health elusive. In this workshop, we will cover the basic tenets of vocal hygiene, explaining how the foods we eat, the fluids we drink, the air we breathe, the medication we're prescribed, and even the feelings we suppress may affect singing and speech.

Elizabeth Gerbi is a well-known vocal educator, singer-actor, and musical conductor (150 productions). She is a Somatic Voicework Level III practitioner, a DMA student of Contemporary Voice Pedagogy at Shenandoah Conservatory, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at SUNY New Paltz.

This "Diabetes Academy" will cover basic meal planning and carbohydrate counting for those managing diabetes, as well as their body weight. Information on how to use the Nutrition Facts Label will be discussed, as well as practical tips on healthy eating, portion sizes, and tips for dining out with diabetes. Complimentary educational materials will be provided.

Maryanne has been dedicated to improving the health and lives of persons living with diabetes for over 25 years. She is currently working with Novo Nordisk's Diabetes Education Program to reach out and educate communities, medical practices, and their staff on topics that will help patients with diabetes achieve the most desirable health outcomes.
