Realizing that his experience on “The Ranch” saved his life, he is now dedicated to sharing his perspectives on wellness with others so “we can all get healthy together.

The Children’s School of Yoga has grown to be the largest children'€™s yoga program in the Hudson Valley region over the past 6 years. It is their mission to teach yoga to children in a fun, age appropriate way so that they will continue practicing yoga into their adult life. Music making activities will include small and large movements, chants, instrument play, singing and part-singing. Miranda will explain the health benefits along the way.

Miranda Haydn is the Director of Catskill Mountain Music Together® with a background in theater and music. She started Catskill Mountain Music Together in April of 2006. Her center provides ongoing music classes to young children and their families in Kingston, Rhinebeck, Saugerties and Woodstock. Music Together is a research based program that includes the belief that all children are musical.

Hip-Hop Fitness & Dance Workshop with Drew

This program aims to motivate youth through the arts with a special focus on dance and music. While training in different techniques, students learn discipline and self-confidence as well as respect towards their peers, themselves, and their bodies. Students condition their minds and bodies while having fun. All body types are encouraged to study dance, not just for the health benefits, but for the love of the art. These lessons encourage a healthy attitude that extends to school, work, family and life in general.

Bryant €˜Drew€™ Andrews, Founder and Director of Energy and Artistic Managing Director of Center for Creative Education has over 20 years of experience working with youth. He has trained in on the streets of New York City as well as with professional choreographers in the business. Drew has been teaching choreography and performing various styles of dance in the Tri-state and Hudson Valley area for many years he has also recently taught and studied in Cuba. He has a focus on Hip-Hop fusion and is known for his high-energy dance style and his rich hard-hitting choreography. His passion for dance and for the welfare of children and young adults is evident in the way he encourages discipline and motivation for a healthy lifestyle. Having fun living and pursuing your passion in life is a major focus of Drew's. Drew serves as a mentor to youth, parents and other community members. Master Chef Jehangir Mehta

mehtasm.jpgFood Network'€™s '€œNext Iron Chef'€ runner up Chef Jehangir Mehta is known in the food world for his creative edge and daring, unorthodox choices that delight diners and culinary experts alike. His educational and creative cooking demos will encourage families to try new food concepts and flavors that will make a long-lasting, positive impact on the way they eat and encourage healthy, adventurous cooking at home. A special demonstration for children between 4 and 14 years of age will encourage the appreciation of complex ingredients in food through the preparation of simple savory and sweet dishes.

In August 2009, Jehangir was a contestant on Iron Chef America where he competed against Iron Chef Morimoto in "Battle Coconut,"and was a contestant on "The Next Iron Chef," the Food Networks reality culinary competition series. Jehangir is currently the Executive Chef and owner of Graffiti in New York City. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Mehta has been a pastry chef in some of the finest restaurants in New York City, including Jean Georges, Union Pacific, Virot, Compass, Aix, and Sapa. Mehta finds endless inspiration in Ayurveda, fruits and spices. Renowned for his inventive creations, Mehta has garnered a lot of media attention. New York Observer quotes, "One of the most daring and original Pastry Chefs, I have come across in New York. His creations are unexpected but with coherence and personality." Graffiti opened on September 19th 2007, and Partistry for six years.
